The delegation was led by Pham Xuan Son, deputy head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for External Affairs.

Deputy PM Thongloun Sisoulith, who is also Lao Foreign Minister, highly valued the Vietnamese delegation’s visit to Laos which took place on the 55^th anniversary of the establishment of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP).

He emphasised that the visit would help strengthen the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.

The Vietnamese guests thanked the Lao Deputy PM for warm welcome and informed him about the results of their working session with senior officials from the LPRP’s External Affairs Commission.

During their visit to Laos from March 23-26, the Vietnamese delegation had working sessions in Vientiane and paid a working trip to Luang Prabang province.
