General Chandisi Sombat thanked General Do Ba Ty for his reception during the Vietnam visit by the Lao delegation and expressed their pleasure at the achievements made by Vietnam during the country’s construction and development process.

Sombat briefed Ty on the results of the previous meeting between the Lao delegation and the Department of Operation under the Vietnamese Ministry of Defence.

Meanwhile, General Ty expressed hopes that the visit will further strengthen ties of friendship and mutual understanding between the two armies and the two countries’ people.
