Minister Thanh spoke highly of the results of previous talks between the Lao guests and a Vietnam People’s Army delegation headed by Deputy Defence Minister Sen. Lieut. Gen. Phan Trung Kien.

He affirmed that the visit will help realise bilateral cooperation agreements signed by the two countries’ defence ministers as well as consolidating the solidarity and special friendship between the two countries and two armies.

For his part, the head of the delegation, Lieut. Gen. Chansamon Channhalat, expressed his belief that the visit will yield good results, contributing to developing bilateral ties.
