Present at the meeting were Deputy Prime Minister Truong Vinh Trong, State Vice President Truong My Hoa, other Party and Government leaders, and many lecturers and students.

After 45 years of development, the institute has trained more than 43,000 students to meet the revolutionary cause of the Party and the country’s development. In the future, it will renovate training programmes and curriculum as well as improve facilities to train high qualified officials.

As a national training centre for special fields, the institute has paid due attention to promoting co-operation with regional and international institutes in training and scientific research activities.
