Over 200 Japanese pupils and students on the “Peace” ship wrapped up their two-day visit to the central city of Da Nang on March 5.

During the visit, the Japanese delegation coordinated with the municipal Youth Union to hold many activities, including performances of Vietnamese and Japanese songs and dances and a culinary programme.

The Japanese students also joined hundreds of Vietnamese young people in cleaning up the city's Tran Phu road.

“I'm very impressed by the hospitality given by Vietnamese young people, particularly Da Nang young people,” said Hayash Hoshie, 19, from the Tokyo University.
