In photos: PM Phuc wrestles with weighty agenda in Germany

VOV.VN - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on July 6-7 dealt with a weighty agenda and busy schedule on his visit to Germany, which included holding talks with Chancellor Angela Merkel and attending the G20 Summit.

Pictured: Prime Minister Phuc attends a Vietnam-Germany Business Forum in Berlin attended by an estimated 500 German and 100 Vietnamese companies. 

Participants at the meeting say they believe there is enormous potential for commercial trade growth between their private sectors.

Prime Minister Phuc tells the gathering of business leaders that the government is striving to create a business climate conducive to meeting the needs of both national and transnational companies.

The Vietnamese leader says he hopes that more German companies will consider doing business in Vietnam.

Prime Minister Phuc departed Berlin for Hamburg on the evening of July 6 where he held talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Prime Minister Phuc tells Chancellor Merkel that he attaches special importance to strengthening bilateral and multilateral ties with Germany.

After the meeting with Chancellor Merkel, Prime Minister Phuc meets with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

Later the Prime Minister holds talks with the CEOs of BMW Corporation, the Munich Airport and BPCE International Bank.

At all of the meetings, the Prime Minister invites German companies to do business in Vietnam. Pictured is the meeting with managing director of BPCE International.
