He noted that 2025 marks the 75th anniversary of Vietnam – Hungary diplomatic relations, which have expanded across various fields such as politics, economy, education, culture, and people-to-people diplomacy. Both countries take pride in successful cooperation projects and look forward to new opportunities in the future, particularly in innovation, green economy, and digital transformation.

Triet thanked the Hungarian Consulate General in the southern metropolis and relevant agencies for supporting people-to-people diplomatic activities run by the organisation, contributing to the sustainable development of bilateral ties.
