During the talk, the two officials affirmed that both sides will closely coordinate in implementing their leaders’ common consensus on strengthening the Vietnam-China strategic and comprehensive cooperation partnership.

They also confirmed that both ministries will work to establish mechanisms for supporting negotiations over maritime issues and to deal with rising problems in a timely manner for the sake of peace in the East Sea.
