The view was shared by Vice Chairwoman of the HCM City People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Hong and Russian Consul General Nikolay Dmitrievich Ubushiev at a ceremony in the city on January 28 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Vietnam-Russia diplomatic ties.
Apart from the close bilateral ties in economics, trade, science and technology, education and culture, recent agreements on cooperation in atomic energy, oil and gas and military technology have consolidated traditional mutual assistance and served both peoples’ interest.
Vice Chairwoman Hong said that the city will continue to pay special attention to the cooperative ties with Russian sister localities, including Saint Petersburg and Moscow, thus contributing to the implementation of cooperation agreements reached between the two governments in various domains.
Russia now ranks 23rd among 81 countries and territories investing in Vietnam with 55 projects totalling US$302.9 million. Meanwhile, Vietnam has 11 investment projects in Russia with a total capital of US$34 million.Bình luận của bạn đang được xem xét
