Hanoi, Luang Prabang boost cooperation
(VOV) -A high-level delegation of Hanoi, led by its Party Committee Secretary Pham Quang Nghi, met with Luang Prabang province officials during their working visit to Laos on December 11.
Addressing the event, Party Committee Secretary and Luang Prabang Provincial Governor Khampheng Saysompheng thanked Hanoi for the effective support it has provided over the years, strengthening the relationship between Laos and Vietnam.
His Vietnamese counterpart stressed the role of his visit in promoting the solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Laos in general and Hanoi and Luang Prabang in particular.
The two sides reviewed their current socio-economic developments during the meeting, highlighting recent achievements in various fields including education, training, and agricultural development.
