Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung said this at a conference to review the operation of the Government Office held at the National Convention Centre on January 21.

He praised the Office’s contributions to the improvement of Government’s socio-economic management and the country’s achievements.

PM Dung said the Office had timely disseminated the Government’s decisions to people and ensured efficient logistics for major events such as the ASEAN Summits and the National Patriotic Emulation Congress.

The Government leader agreed with the Office’s directions for 2011 which focus on the improvement of its advisory work. He also asked the Office to prepare a report to summarise the operation of the Government during its term.

On the occasion, PM Dung granted a Certificate of Merit and an Emulation Flag to the Government Office and Labour Orders to individuals with outstanding contributions.
