Cabinet members discussed reports on February’s socio-economic development, forecasts of the world and Vietnamese economies, solutions for managing the macro economy and the implementation of resolutions adopted at the government session in January.

Work programmes for February, legal issues related to the lunar New Year Festival, settlement of complaints and denouncements and corruption prevention and control, and administrative reform were also in the agenda.

Before the two-day meeting concludes, cabinet members will also discuss a 10-year project to accelerate economic restructuring in order to increase the efficiency and competitive capacity of the national economy.
