At the meeting, Government members gave opinions on the implementation of resolutions adopted at the 4^th Conference of the 10^th Party Congress and some major policies and guidelines on fast and sustainable economic development after Vietnam joined the World Trade Organisation.

Government members discussed amendments to the decree on shifting State-owned enterprises to equitised enterprises, the draft decree on the policy toward labourers who will be out of work after the restructuring of State-owned enterprises. They will also give opinions on the draft law on special amnesty and a report on settlement of complaints and denunciations in 2006.
