During the two-day meeting, the Government discussed the socio-economic situation in August, the socio-economic forecast for 2009 and the development plan for 2010. The Government also discussed the implementation of a resolution of the previous meeting in July and the Government’s activities, including dealing with complains and cases of corruption in August.

The meeting will canvas opinions on some important issues such as a plan to develop nuclear power in Vietnam by 2030, a project to develop the Ninh Thuan nuclear power plant, a zoning plan to develop golf courses by 2020 and some other laws and decrees.
