The Government has completed the 12th tenure, basically fulfilling tasks assigned by the Party, State and people, said the Government Spokesman Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
Mr. Phuc, who is also Minister-Head of the Government Office, made the affirmation at a press briefing on July 24 after the government’s July regular meeting, the last of the Government of the 12th tenure.
Despite many challenges from the impact of the global economic crisis, high inflation in regional and world economies, as well as natural disasters and epidemics in the country, the government built an efficient working regulation to carry out its mission in the spirit of solidarity and unanimity.
He stressed that the achievements were markedly attributed to the mass media agencies, which has closely coordinated to disseminate information on the government’s management.
Mr. Phuc also pointed out some shortcomings of ministries and sectors in forecasting the situation, improving macroeconomic management, and land management, coping with climate change and pushing through administrative reform.
The Government spokesman also informed that the draft proposal on the government of the 13th tenure has been finalized for the National Assembly to consider.
