Vietnam will continue to promote achievements and use the Official Development Assistance effectively, said Vice President Truong My Hoa, at a get-together with representatives from non-governmental and international organisations in Vietnam on February 8 to welcome the Lunar New Year festival.
Speaking at the get-together, Ms Hoa said that Vietnam is an official member of the World Trade Organisation and deeply integrating into the global economy. “The country wants to become a friends and a reliable partner of all countries and a responsible member of the international community”, she added.
Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Hu Qianwen expressed his delight at socio-economic achievements in 2006, saying that Vietnam has combined State’s diplomacy and people’s diplomacy well.
