At a reception for the visiting State Secretary in the Ministry of Economy and Labour from the German state of Saxony-Anhalt, Detlef Schubert in Hanoi on December 1 the Deputy Prime Minister praised the strengths and potential of Saxony Anhalt in science, technology, education and training. He said that Vietnam wants to boost cooperation and learn more in these fields from the German state.

He also thanked the state’s local authorities for creating preferential conditions for the Vietnamese community to integrate better into German society.

Mr Schubert informed that many Saxony-Anhalt businesses are accompanying him to Vietnam to research the market and seek long-term business opportunities in the country.
