The group was formed by the youth league in June 1979 in order to assist young Cambodians facing numerous difficulties during the 1979-1989 period.

Mr Triet highly appreciated the former experts’ efforts to accomplish their international mission in Cambodia.

He noted that the ties of cooperation and friendship between the two countries have been strengthened, especially in the fields of economics, culture and education.
