Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Khiem and Russian Ambassador Andrey Grigorievich Kovtun cut the red ribbon inaugurating an exhibition on the Vietnam-Russia relationship at Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hanoi on January 27.

On display are nearly 200 photos, documents and objects, which feature the long-lasting friendship, solidarity and all-round cooperation between Vietnam and the former Soviet Union and now Russia.

Relations between Vietnam and former Soviet Union (and now Russia) have fared well since the two countries established diplomatic ties 60 years ago. The heart-felt support and effective assistance from former Soviet Union people served as a great source of encouragement to the Vietnamese people in their struggle for national liberation and construction.

The exhibition will last through to February 4.
