Attending the event, Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Quoc Cuong, thanked the European Commission and EU member countries for assisting Vietnam in promoting socio-economic development and international integration.

Cuong and Ambassador Doyle both said they believed that Vietnamese-EU relations would continue to flourish in the future.
