Speaking at the office’s inauguration ceremony in the capital city on January 17, MIU Secretary-General Miguel Mejia praised President Ho Chi Minh’s great contributions to the Vietnamese people’s struggle in particular and the world revolutionary movement in general.

He said the MIU, as a member of the governing alliance in Dominica, is resolved to strengthen ties with Vietnam .

On the occasion, Vietnamese Ambassador to Cuba and the Republic of Dominica Vu Chi Cong presented a portrait photo of President Ho Chi Minh and a Vietnamese national flag to be hung at the office.
