Party, State leaders commemorate President Ho Chi Minh on his birthday
VOV.VN - A high-ranking delegation of the Party, State, National Assembly, Government and Vietnam Fatherland Front laid a wreath at the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in Hanoi on May 19, paying tribute to the late president on his 132nd birthday.
The delegation was led by State President Nguyen Xuan Phuc, national Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, permanent member of the Party Secretariat Vo Van Thuong and Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Do Van Chien.
Former Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh, former National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Van An and many other former party and State leaders also joined the delegation.
In a solemn atmosphere, the leaders expressed their respect and deep gratitude to the great merits of President Ho, the hero of national liberation and the genius leader of the Party and the Vietnamese people who spent his whole life for the cause of national liberation and reunification.
The delegation later laid a wreath and offered incense at the War Martyrs’ Monument on Bac Son Street.
