The exhibition is part of activities marking the 80th anniversary of Vietnam’s diplomatic service (August 28, 1945 – 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of External Relations (1975–2025).

In his remarks, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Nguyen Van Duoc noted that over the past eight decades, under the clear-sighted leadership of the Party and State, Vietnam’s diplomatic sector has stood side-by-side with the nation, contributing significantly to national independence, post-war recovery, and national development.
He highlighted Ho Chi Minh City’s active role in expanding international cooperation, particularly in fields such as economy, culture, science and technology, education, and healthcare. The city continues to attract international partnerships and investment, and promotes itself as a modern, open, and globally connected urban center.
