Vietnam ready to assist India with COVID-19 fight

VOV.VN - Vietnam stands shoulder to shoulder with India to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Quoc Dung told Indian Ambassador to Vietnam Pranay Kumar Verma on April 27.

Dung extended the Vietnamese leaders’ sympathy to the Indian leaders over huge losses caused by the second wave of the coronavirus, and expressed his belief that India will soon overcome this hard and challenging time.  

For his part, Ambassador Pranay Kumar Verma briefed his host on the resurgence of the outbreak, and thanked Vietnam for its heart-felt support to India.

He took the occasion to affirm that the Indian government will provide necessary assistance for the Vietnamese community in the country.
