Vietnam, China exchange congratulations on 72 years of diplomatic ties

VOV.VN - Leaders of the Party, State and National Assembly of Vietnam have exchanged congratulatory messages with Chinese leaders on the 72nd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China.

Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue exchanged the messages with General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping, Prime Minister Li Keqiang, and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China Li Zhanshu.

Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son also exchanged a message of congratulation with State Councilor and Foreign Minister of China Wang Yi.

Vietnam and China established diplomatic ties on January 18, 1950.
