Vietnam and Thailand work closely at multilateral forums such as the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), the United Nations, the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), and regional sub-mechanisms like the Mekong–Lancang Cooperation. They are also actively promoting sustainable development strategies in areas like renewable energy, digital economy, and e-commerce.
The Vietnam - Thailand Joint Cabinet Meeting is an important part of the enhanced strategic partnership between the two countries. The cooperation framework aims to strengthen coordination between ministries, sectors, and localities of both countries and address key issues in bilateral relations.
