NA Vice Chairman attends 146 IPU Assembly in Bahrain
VOV.VN - A Vietnamese delegation of the National Assembly of Vietnam led by Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man will the 146th Inter-parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly in Bahrain.
The trip has been made at the invitation of the President and Secretary General of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, according to the Communiqué of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly.
The gathering themed “Promoting peaceful coexistence and inclusive societies: Fighting intolerance” is taking place in Manama, the capital of the Kingdom of Bahrain, from March 11 to 15.
The assembly will provide opportunities for the community of IPU parliament members to meet and stand on a common base, opening broad horizons of dialogue aimed at strengthening parliamentary efforts, within the framework of the general theme of “Promoting peaceful coexistence and inclusive societies: Fighting intolerance.”
