General Secretary To Lam joins RoK President Lee Jae-myung for tea party

VOV.VN - The Republic of Korea’s President Lee Jae-myung and his spouse warmly invited Vietnam’s Party General Secretary To Lam and his spouse to a tea ceremony at the Blue House in Seoul on August 12.

In a warm and intimate atmosphere, General Secretary To Lam and President Lee Jae-myung, along with their spouses, shared deep sentiments and enjoyed traditional cultural performances from both Vietnam and the RoK.

They expressed their belief that the profound cultural empathy, mutual understanding, and respect between the peoples of the two countries form a solid foundation for increasingly close and stronger ties between Vietnam and the RoK. Sharing a common vision and aspirations for national development also strengthens the comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.

General Secretary To Lam began a four-day State visit to the Republic of Korea at the invitation of President Lee Jae-myung. This is his first State visit to the RoK in his new role. The fact that the RoK invited General Secretary To Lam as the first State guest after the new government was formed demonstrates its high regard for its relationship with Vietnam as well as respect for the General Secretary personally.
