VOV.VN - Vietnamese localities and China’s Zhejiang province should enhance experience sharing in the areas of the Chinese side’s strength such as sustainable development, digital economy, science-technology and infrastructure construction.

Vietnamese Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son who is currently on an official visit to China made the proposal during his online meeting with Secretary of the Party Committee of Zhejiang province Yuan Jiajun on December 3.
He called on Zhejiang to create more optimal conditions for Vietnamese products to enter its market and at the same time to effectively exploit land and railway connectivity between Vietnam’s Lang Son province and Yiwu Shi city - an important transit point of the Asia-Europe railway.
He also suggested that Zhejiang soon restore cooperation in tourism and education with Vietnam, and encourage leading enterprises specializing in innovation and e-commerce to continue implementing non-profit training courses on digital economy and e-commerce for Vietnam.
Minister Son spoke highly of cooperation outcomes between Zhejiang and Vietnamese localities, especially in economy and trade with revenue in the first nine months of this year rising 30.8% year on year to US$12.48 billion.
He also wished 2022 Asian Games, slated for September 2022 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, would be a great success.
For his part, Yuan welcomed Son’s proposals and said Zhejiang attaches importance to enhancing and expanding cooperation with Vietnamese localities.
