Vietnam will spare no effort to maintain and develop the special friendship and solidarity with Laos for the prosperity of each nation and for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
Politburo member Dinh The Huynh made the affirmation at a reception for a delegation of the Lao National Politics and Administration Institute, led by its Director Kykeo Khaykhamphithun, in Hanoi on October 26.
Mr Huynh, who is also Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Information and Education, praised the effective cooperation between the Lao Institute and the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Public Administration.
The Party official expressed his hope that the two sides will continue boosting cooperation and exchange of experience in personnel training as well as organizing activities to celebrate the “Year of Vietnam-Laos Friendship and Solidarity 2012”.
Kykeo Khaykhamphithun briefed the host on the results of the earlier talks between the two academies.
He thanked the Vietnamese Party, State and people for the great support and assistance to Laos, especially in human resources development.
