He acknowledged the efforts and achievements made by the provincial Party organisation, administration and people in socio-economic development in recent times, especially in poverty reduction.

He said Tuyen Quang should develop technical infrastructure, with priority given to transport, human resources and communications, offer investment incentives and accelerate administrative reform to attract local and foreign investors. He also asked the province to speed up the disbursement of investment capital for key projects, develop education and vocational training, further lower the poverty rate and take care of social policy beneficiaries.

He reminded Tuyen Quang to develop the forest-based economy and control environmental issues in industrial areas to achieve the goal of sustainable development.
