The Deputy PM hailed the visit by a delegation of Polish businesspeople, headed by Adam Szejnfeld, and expressed his pleasure at the fine development of relations between the two countries, not only in training, shipbuilding and mining, but also in energy and oil and gas.
He praised the Polish Government for providing official development assistance (ODA) to the tune of US$280 million and stated that the Vietnamese government will continue to give guidance on how to use the capital effectively.
Szejnfeld said he was impressed with Vietnam’s socio-economic development and briefed his host on the outcome of his meetings with several Vietnamese agencies.
He said that besides their traditional cooperation, Poland wishes to expand cooperation in the fields of chemical industry, food processing, environmental protection and tourism development.
Both were pleased with Vietnam and Poland’s growing two-way trade turnover which reached US$600 million last year.
Both parties agreed on the need for close cooperation to overcome the impact of the current global economic decline on their penetration into ASEAN and EU markets.Bình luận của bạn đang được xem xét
