Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Gia Khiem will attend the fourth meeting of the Steering Committee for Vietnam-China Bilateral Cooperation in Beijing and visit China from June 29 to July 3, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Mr Khiem and China’s State Counsellor Dai Bingguo will co-chair the meeting to review the areas of cooperation between the two countries after the previous meeting, and discuss measures to promote bilateral cooperation.
Mr Khiem is scheduled to meet with senior Chinese leaders, including Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi, and visit several economic and scientific and technological centres in China.
