Deputy PM Khiem made the remark while receiving visiting Swedish Minister for Development Cooperation Gunilla Carlsson in Hanoi on April 23.

Host and guest affirmed that the relations of prolonged and fine friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Sweden, particularly in politics, economics, development cooperation, investment and trade will continue to develop in the interests of the two countries’ people, peace, stability and development in the region and the world.

For her part, Minister Carlsson expressed her delight at visiting Vietnam and witnessing the country’s socio-economic achievements, particularly in poverty reduction, during its process of renewal and integration into the region and the world. She expressed hope that Vietnam will further develop in all fields.
