During his visit to the Middle-east country from April 11-14, Mr Hung also affirmed Vietnam’s policy of openness, multilateralisation and diversification of international relations at meetings with Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Motaki and other government officials.

The Vietnamese diplomat briefed his hosts on Vietnam’s achievements during the Renewal process and its measures to minimise the negative effects of the current financial crisis and economic recession.

Foreign Minister Motaki expressed Iran’s desire to expand cooperation in all aspects with Vietnam.
