Deputy FM meets with foreign ambassadors to prepare NA Chairman’s working trip
VOV.VN - Deputy Foreign Minister Dang Hoang Giang met with the ambassadors of Switzerland and Morocco in Hanoi, and held phone talks with the Senegalese Ambassador concurrently accredited to Vietnam on the morning of July 18 in Hanoi.

During the meetings, Deputy Minister Dang Hoang Giang expressed his appreciation for the positive developments in Vietnam’s bilateral relations with Senegal, Morocco, and Switzerland across multiple fields in recent years.
He also praised the ambassadors for their close coordination and support in preparing for the upcoming working visit of National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, who will represent Vietnam’s Party and State leaders, accompanied by his spouse and a high-ranking delegation to attend the 6th World Conference of Speakers of Parliament (IPU) in Switzerland, as well as for the planned official visits to Morocco and Senegal from July 22 to 30.
The Vietnamese diplomat emphasized that NA Chairman Tran Thanh Manh’s upcoming trip reflects Vietnam’s high regard for the IPU, as well as for its traditional relations with Senegal, Morocco, and Switzerland – three countries that are also members of the Francophonie community.
He expressed hope that the visit will yield substantive outcomes, particularly in trade, investment, agriculture, sustainable development, and innovation, thereby laying the groundwork for deepening bilateral ties with the three countries in a more effective and mutually beneficial manner.

The Deputy Minister also highlighted the broader goal of contributing to peace, stability, and development in the region and globally. He called on the ambassadors to continue working closely with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Assembly, and relevant ministries and agencies to ensure the success of the Chairman’s visit.
The ambassadors thanked Deputy Minister Dang Hoang Giang for the meeting and agreed with his assessment of bilateral relations. They affirmed that their respective governments highly value Chairman Tran Thanh Man’s upcoming visit, which they believe will mark a new milestone in their ties with Vietnam.
They expressed confidence that the visit will open up new areas of cooperation and promote exchanges between localities in Vietnam and their countries. They pledged to continue close coordination with the Vietnamese side to make the visit a success.
