A document to this effect was signed in Hanoi on December 15 by Danish Ambassador John Nielsen and Bui Huy Tam, chairman of the Can Loc people’s committee.

Ambassador John Nielsen said he hoped the support would help promote economic development and enhance income-generating opportunities for the local people to get on their feet again after the flooding.

In the October calamity, Can Loc district was among the province’s heavily devastated localities, with losses of people and property.

The support is expected to help the province and the district repair and upgrade the road in Vuong Loc commune, promptly putting the road into operation and allowing local people access to surrounding areas.
