Day two: Barack Obama’s visit to Vietnam – in pictures

VOV.VN - US President Barack Obama on May 24 delivered his remarks to a 2,000 audience of young students, intellectuals and businesspeople at the National Convention Center before leaving Hanoi for Ho Chi Minh City.

President Obama said, “the United States of America will be right there with you as your partner and as your friend”.

He thanked the leaders and people of Vietnam for their warm welcome. 

The US President stopped at a local coffee shop on the way to Noi Bai International Airport.


He will board Air Force One to flight to Ho Chi Minh City. 

US President Obama was welcomed at Tan Son Nhat International Airport by Ho Chi Minh City leaders.

He visited Ngoc Hoang Pagoda in District 1.




 

He talked with Ngo Huynh Ngoc Khanh, student of Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities at Dreamplex office.

President Obama is talking with young Vietnamese entrepreneurs.
