At the invitation of Vietnam’s permanent Deputy Foreign Minister Le Cong Phung, Danish Permanent secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Ulrik Federspiel, paid a visit to Vietnam from March 28 to April 2.

During the talks, the two sides were pleased to note that two countries have well developed relations in the fields of politics, economics, trade, investment and culture over the past years. They agreed on the need to promote the sustainable and long-term relations for the benefit of the two countries.

Mr Phung highlighted Ulrik Federspiel’s visit and thanked the Danish government and people for providing aid to Vietnam. He confirmed that many Danish-funded projects have been implemented effectively in Vietnam, contributing to the country’s socio-economic development.
