Vice State President Truong My Hoa has urged authorities in the Central Highland province of Dak Nong to further uphold the patriotism and solidarity among ethnic minorities in order to boost socio-economic development and reduce hunger and poverty.
During her visit to the province from January 19-20, the Vice President asked the provincial authorities to prioritise development funds for building infrastructure and increasing living standard of ethnic minorities.
Local officials must make best use of the province’s potential and natural resources in order to create a breakthrough in socio-economic development, she added.
Vice President Hoa also called at a number of communes to learn about the life of ethnic people and had meetings with border guards stationed in the area.
