Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City Chapter of the Vietnam – Cuba Friendship Association Hoang Thi Khanh made the statement at a get-together marking the 53rd anniversary of National Day of Cuba (January 1) on December 29. 

While reviewing the long-lasting friendship between Vietnam and Cuba, she said that together with state diplomacy, people-to-people diplomacy between the two countries has been continuously developed. 

Khanh congratulated the State and people of Cuba on their National Day, praising the country’s efforts to overcome difficulties and make rapid and stable development.
