The message wrote that over the past 90 years, under the leadership of the CPC, the Chinese people have overcome countless difficulties and hardship to win great victories of historical significance in the revolutionary cause, national liberation and the building of socialism, especially in the country’s reform, open-door and modernisation process in recent years. 

The CPV and the Vietnamese people warmly congratulate China on the achievements it has made during over 30 years of reform and opening up process and firmly believe that under the sound leadership of the CPC, the Chinese people would determinedly win greater achievements, successfully realise goals and missions outlined in the 12th five-year plan, and comprehensively build a moderately prosperous and socialist harmonious society, it said. 

The CPV wishes the CPC and fraternal Chinese people continue to win greater achievements in the reform and open-door process, in the building of socialism with Chinese characteristics and in the comprehensive construction of a moderately prosperous and socialist harmonious society put forth by the CPC and the Chinese people, said the message. 

On the occasion, Party General Secretary and National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong sent floral greetings to Party General Secretary and State President Hu Zintao.
