The Deputy chairman expressed his hope that VBS would continue to encourage Buddhist monks, nuns and followers to follow State laws and Party policies as well as taking part in patriotic emulation campaigns. 

The VBS, as a member of the VFF, should contribute more to building the national unity bloc, for a strong country with wealthy people living in a democratic, equal and civilised society, Nui said. 

Most Venerable Thich Thanh Tu, Permanent Deputy Chairman of the VBS Executive Council, expressed his thanks to the VFF for its assistance, saying he hoped that VFF would continue to uphold its role in strengthening the national unity bloc.
