A delegation from the Vietnamese Communist Party’s Commission for Overseas Party Affairs made a fact finding trip to Japan from September 11-14 to get to know more about the Party’s work as well as what the Vietnamese community there thinks of its efforts.
The delegation, headed by Truong Manh Son, met with the CPV’s Committee in Japan on September 12 and discussed various difficulties it has encountered while trying to expand the party’s ranks amongst overseas Vietnamese students.
On September 13, the delegation held a meeting with representatives of the Vietnamese community in Japan.
The Vietnamese expatriates at the meeting expressed concerns over the country’s situation and made it known that they wished to make further contributions to national construction.
