To Huy Rua, Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee and head of its Commission for Ideology and Culture received a visiting delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee's Propaganda Department led by its vice chairman Gao Jun Liang, in Hanoi on March 16.
Mr Rua, who is also head of the Theoretical Council of the CPV Central Committee, praised the CPC's experiences in information dissemination, ideological education and theoretical studies. He noted that cooperation and exchange activities between the CPV CC's Commission for Ideology and Information and the CPC CC's Propaganda Department have constantly increased in diverse and effective forms alongside the development of friendly ties between the two countries and Parties.

The Chinese official spoke highly of the great achievements made by the Vietnamese people in implementing the Renewal policy initiated by the CPV over the past years and said he believes that under the leadership of the CPV, the Vietnamese people will fulfill tasks set by the 10th National Party Congress.

Earlier, the Chinese delegation held a working session with a delegation of the CPV Commission for Ideology and Culture led by Phung Huu Phu, member of the Party Central Committee and vice chairman of the commission.

The two sides exchanged views on ideological education, theoretical studies and cultural management and discussed measures to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field.
