At the reception, Lieutenant General Duy Minh said the visit contributes to realizing the agreement reached by the two defence ministries on the exchange of army delegations and young officers with the aim of promoting mutual understanding and trust for the benefit of the time-honoured friendship between the two nations.

Mr Minh said he hopes that each Chinese young officer will act as a span of the friendship bridge between the two people and two armies.

During its stay, the delegation has visited a number of units and schools of the Vietnam People’s Army and places of interest in Hanoi, Nha Trang, HCM City and Ha Long Bay.
