Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Deputy Foreign Minister Minh praised the ambassador’s contributions to strengthening and expanding the friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Chile over the past four years.

Ambassador Ugalde expressed his honour at receiving the Order of Friendship, a state decoration of Vietnam, and thanked the Vietnamese ministries, agencies and socio-political organisations for their support during his term.

The ambassador confirmed that no matter what position he will take in the future, he will continue to contribute to promoting friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
