The President of the Central African Republic, Francois Bozize Yangouvonda, and his wife paid a visit to the former imperial city of Hue on May 20 as part of his official visit to Vietnam.

During his stay in the city, the president watched performances by royal musicians in Duyet Thi Duong Theatre inside the Royal Palace.

The Chairman of the Thua Thien-Hue Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Ngoc Thien and many other provincial officials received Mr Bozize Yangouvonda and his wife.

Mr Thien briefed the Central African president on the province’s socio-economic situation, especially the cultural preservation of the relic complex in the former capital city.
