A delegation from the Vietnamese Government Inspectorate led by Chief Inspector Huynh Phong Tranh held talks with a delegation from the Cambodian Ministry of National Assembly-Senate Relations and Inspection headed by Deputy Prime Minister Men Sam An in Hanoi on July 23.

During the talks, Chief Inspector Tranh briefed the Cambodian delegation on the socio-economic situation in Vietnam during the first half of this year, as well as some recent experiences in inspection work, dealing with complaints and combating corruption and the Inspectorate’s orientations for the future.

The Cambodian delegation’s visit following the signing of a cooperation agreement in March demonstrates the fine friendship and cooperation between the two inspection sectors and lays a foundation for implementing their agreement to mark the 45th anniversary of Vietnam-Cambodia diplomatic ties.

Minister Men Sam An thanked the Vietnamese Inspectorate for training human resources from her ministry, adding that the visit by her delegation provides a good opportunity for both sides to share work experiences and strengthen the traditional friendship and long-standing comprehensive cooperation between the two nations.
