At a meeting with local key leaders, PM Dung asked them to direct local people to fulfill all socio-economic targets set for this year and to ensure the successful organisation of the Party congresses at all levels.

Binh Duong should focus on developing hi-tech industries along with urbanization, knowledge-based economy and services to become a first-tier city, Mr Dung said.

He also requested the province to rezone its agricultural land area, intensify the application of advanced technology into production to increase productivity and the quality of farm produce.
